The Juice beats out Palm Beach PAL to win the 2nd Annual Under Armour Southeast Wood Bat Tournament played this week at Roger Dean Stadium.
Jupiter, FL – Chet Lemon’s Juice under 18 boy’s baseball team from Mount Dora, Fl beat out the Palm Beach PAL from West Palm Beach, FL to win the 2nd Annual Under Armour Southeast Wood Bat Tournament for the second year in a row. This national invitational tournament featured 24 under 18 elite travel teams from around the Southeast competing for the championship. The tournament wrapped up yesterday afternoon at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter after 5 long days of tournament play.
The Palm Beach County Sports Commission provided Team One, the Newport Beach, CA producer of the event with a grant and marketing assistance to bring this prestigious event to Palm Beach County. “This event fills hotel rooms and brings economic impact to our Palm Beach County tourism industry during the slow season, and solidifies our position as one of the premier baseball destinations in the US.” said Gerry Baron, Executive Director of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. “Team One Baseball produces an excellent tournament, and we look forward to developing more events with them going forward.”
The tournament games showcased a level of high school baseball that is unprecedented in quality. Many college programs and professional scouts were in attendance to get an opportunity to watch the rising stars of tomorrow. This year there were a recorded 23 colleges and 8 Major League Baseball organizations in attendance. Many of the participating players will go on to receive athletic scholarships and enter the Major League Baseball amateur draft.

Team One Baseball is proud of the 180 plus Team One players who are currently playing Major League Baseball.

The Sports Commission is happy to welcome back Team One for the Under Armour Fall Classic Showcase Tournament on Friday, September 11 – Sunday, September 13 at the Roger Dean Sports Complex. This will be another great opportunity for young baseball players to get noticed by college recruiters and scouts.
