The Palm Beach County Sports Commission has various volunteer opportunities for sporting events throughout Palm Beach County. If you are interested in volunteering please look below for some of the opportunities we have available.

The First Responder Games needs volunteers for our 2017 event. We need individuals to assist in the Registration room at the Hilton Palm Beach Airport located at 150 Australian Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. Duties include distributing player packets, tee shirts and goody bags. We require volunteers to be 16 years of age or older. Each shift is 2 hours and involves sitting and standing. The hours are 8am to 5pm beginning Monday, June 5th through Friday June 16th. All volunteers will be given a free event tee shirt. The Kids Fitness Festival of the Palm Beaches presented by Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida will be taking place at the Palm Beach County Convention Center on Wednesday, July 19th and Thursday, July 20th. The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is recruiting enthusiastic and hardworking volunteers who enjoy sports!
Since 1992, each July, approximately 5,000 South Florida youth gather for two days of fitness and fun. The Kids Fitness Festival of the Palm Beaches gives participants the opportunity to interact and test their skills in over 40 different traditional and non-traditional sport clinics with a professional from within each sport. Activities include tennis, fencing, soccer, football, wrestling, taekwondo, gymnastics, dance, golf, badminton, cheerleading, baseball and much more. In addition, there are midway activities, interactive games and team mascots. The day is full of plenty of interaction and sports and fitness-oriented activities.
Volunteers are needed to assist with registration, hospitality, sport clinics and a variety of other areas. Volunteers receive an event t-shirt, access to the hospitality area and volunteer hours can be applied to community service requirements.
The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is proud to host the National Beep Baseball Association World Series on July 25-29, 2017, at Village Park in Wellington. Since 1976, the NBBA has facilitated and provided the adaptive version of traditional baseball to the blind, low-vision, and legally blind. Each team is comprised of 15-20 adult players. The five-day tournament will include a round robin to determine the brackets and then a double elimination format to determine the champions. This high energy, competitive sport provides a forum to the site impaired, and a comradery that is second to none! The Sports Commission is looking for volunteers to help with this amazing event. Please volunteer and help the Sports Commission support the National Beep Baseball Association World Series!
Volunteers are needed to assist with field duties, doggy day care, player assistance and greeters. Volunteers receive an event t-shirt. Volunteer hours can be applied to community service requirements.
