Eric, a native of Palm Beach County and a 1983 graduate of the University of Florida, has been employed by Parks and Recreation for more than 30 years. Drafted twice by Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves and New York Yankees and a member of the USA Baseball Team, Eric has been a strong advocate for both professional and amateur sports in Palm Beach County for decades.

Susan is the Dir. of Development for Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center. She attended Rutgers University and studied Agricultural Business and Marketing. Susan joined Merrill Lynch in New York and later in London, where she lived for 17 years raising her two boys. Susan returned to Florida in 2005, and now combines her passion for horses and business at Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center. She joined the staff of Vinceremos in September of 2008. She was no stranger to Vinceremos, Susan had been a part of their benefit auction committee for several years before joining them full time. Susan's responsibilities at Vinceremos include developing donors, sponsorship and fundraising, while maintaining community visibility for the center. She is on the Board of Trustees of the U.S. Driving for the Disabled and a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship and sit on the PATH Mentor Sub Committee.

Now retired, DeMott's forty plus year career included sports casting assignments in San Diego, Portland and Colorado Springs including a decade as an announcer for the Chargers. In 1992, he joined WJNO Radio as sports director. A board member since 1993, he is vice-chair of the Groza and a member of the Grants, Finance, Audit, Hall of Fame and Strategic Planning committees.

Bishop Granger has 40 years of Ministerial experiences and serves as Senior Pastor of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, West Palm Beach, Florida. He graduated from Bethune-Cookman College, Daytona Beach, Florida with further studies at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia and Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts. He serves as Southern Atlantic Regional Bishop and Member of the Bishop’s Council, Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International.

Bishop Granger has served as a mentor/varsity high school coach for 8 years and is married to Pastor Katrina W. Granger.

Major Thomas E. Johnson, USA (Retired)

Major Johnson has over 30 years of being a Coach, Mentor and Teacher and serves as a Senior Army Instructor (JROTC) and Head Track & Field coach at Cardinal Newman H.S., West Palm Beach, Florida. He graduated from The University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS. with a degree in Broadcast Journalism (TV) and a Masters Degree in Christian Studies from Trinity International University, Florida campus. Major Johnson served 23 years in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer, Battery/Detachment Commander and Public Affairs Officer in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. He also served as the 14TH Public Affairs Detachment Commander and Chief of Command information for the Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC) during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) 2004 – 2005. Major Johnson is an Eight-Time All- American and World Record Holder (500m), while attending Florida State University and Ole Miss. He is also a Florida Track & Field (2011) and Golden South Classic (2013) Hall of Fame Inductee. He founded BTA Track Club in 2012 and has produced 3 National Champions and was named the Head Coach of the 2014 USA, IAAF World Junior Championship Team.

Major Johnson has competed and coached at the NCAA, National and International levels. He has earned numerous awards for his mentorship and commitment to the community he serves.

Mr. Knowles, a Palm Beach County native and former Director General, World Conference of Mayors is a retired (1991) Washington, DC Government Executive. He is a graduate of Morgan State University and University of Oklahoma. His passion is golf. He returned to Palm Beach County in 1993 and started their first after school golf program at JFK Middle School, Riviera Beach as his way of giving back to the children. He then founded “Inner City Youth Golfers’, Inc., in January 2001. Its unique youth initiative: “Say NO To Drugs – Say YES To Education, Culture & Golf” was established to promote the positive aspects of life. To further his vision, he started the “African American Golfers Hall Of Fame” in April 2004; the “African American Collegiate & Youth Golfers Hall of Fame” in 2010 and Golf Fore Anyone, Inc.

Doug Mosley joined ESPN in April 2014, charged with launching the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl. He has more than 25 years’ experience in intercollege athletics and international sports. He came to ESPN following a stint as senior associate director of athletics at the University of Cincinnati. Mosley had previously worked at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and was part of the team that brought the organization’s entire slate of spring championships to Palm Beach County in 1999. He lives in Boynton Beach with his wife, Stacy, and their two children, Luke and Katie.

Steve is a luxury residential and commercial Realtor (Sheehan Realty Corporation, Jupiter).  He is Chairman of the Childrens Golf Foundation (dba The First Tee - Palm Beaches, Broward & Treasure Coast).   Steve serves on the Governing Board of the Loxahatchee River District,  is a Corporate Member of Jupiter Medical Center and a Honda Classic Ambassador.  He and his wife, Beth, reside in Admirals Cove, Jupiter where Steve served on its Board of Governors as Club President and remains active on various committees.

Previously, Brady was the Vice President at Historic Dodgertown under former Dodgers owner, Peter O’Malley, and prior to that he served as General Manager of the Daytona Cubs where he received Florida State League Executive of the Year honors in 2013.

Mike Bauer is beginning his third year as General Manager of Roger Dean Stadium. Previously, Bauer was the Executive Director of Palace Baseball for the Ashville Tourists and before that he was the Director of Guest Services for the Tampa Bay Lightning. He and his wife Stacy have two boys.


 

Pat Chun

Pat Chun assumed the direction of Florida Atlantic University’s department of athletics in 2012. Since that time Chun has been elevated to Vice President and Director of Athletics for one of the fastest growing departments in the country. The Owls compete at the NCAA’s highest level and call Conference USA home.


 

Devin Crosby

Lynn University - Director of Intercollegiate Athletics

Devin Crosby became Lynn University’s seventh director of intercollegiate athletics on May 4, 2015, bringing with him a track record of success at the Division I level. Since his arrival, Crosby has built an athletics culture of spirit, service and strength.

Crosby has pursued an aggressive strategy to ensure student-athlete success while elevating the Fighting Knights’ national profile. He has advanced Lynn’s athletic programs through fundraising, capital improvement projects, student academic support, sport expansion, public speaking, budget growth and community outreach. Crosby solidified a four-year, $1 million agreement with Adidas, the most lucrative university apparel agreement in NCAA Division II, and initiated capital projects at Bobby Campbell Stadium, de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center and Lynn’s baseball complex.


 

Tyler Greene

Tyler is an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM. He provides financial and retirement planning services, portfolio management, and investment managing consulting to professional athletes and entertainers, as well as other individuals, families and businesses. After retiring from Major League Baseball, Tyler was motivated to help athletes in all professional sports become better educated about financial matters and better prepared for retirement.


 

Ken Kennerly

Kennerly is the President & CEO of IGPGROUP, Inc. dba IGP Sports & Entertainment Group. IGP is an international sports marketing, event management, and athlete representation firm specializing in the golf industry. High profile clients include the management of The Honda Classic (a PGA TOUR event), PGA TOUR Professional Robert Allenby, and several other professional golfers. A native of New York City, and graduate of Dartmouth College, Kennerly moved to Palm Beach County in 1993.


 

Michelle McGann

LPGA Golfer
(Appointed March 2013)

The West Palm Beach native joined the LPGA Tour in 1988. She has seven LPGA tour victories and was a member of the 1996 USA Solheim Cup Team where her 4-0 playoff record is the best in LPGA history. McGann’s biggest challenge has been living with Type-1 Diabetes. While Michelle ranks in the top 50 of all-time LPGA money earners, she raised millions, and spent thousands of hours benefiting diabetes causes, including The Michelle McGann Fund, assisting children and families suffering from diabetes.


 

Howard Schnellenberger

Coach Schnellenberger joined FAU in 1998 with the opportunity to build the football program from the ground up. He took to the challenge and the FAU football team made its debut on September 1, 2001. FAU holds the record for the fastest start up program to earn a Division I-A victory, is the fastest program to reach the Division I-AA playoffs and the fastest start up program to be invited to a bowl game. Schnellenberger began his coaching career in 1959. His career highlights include: four national collegiate football championships, seven NFL playoff teams, best record in NFL history as the Miami Dolphins' Offensive Coordinator, 1983 National Champions (University of Miami) and 1983 National Coach of the Year.


 

Carolyn Stone

Carolyn Stone is a native and resident of North Palm Beach, Stone brings more than 20 years of professional experience in sport management and administration serving in roles at the Village of North Palm Beach, Town of Palm Beach and the City of Palm Beach Gardens. She is also a past president of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches. She is a graduate of the University of Florida and received her graduate degree from the University of Georgia. Married to Ed Stone, she resides in North Palm Beach with their two sons, Jack (13) and Luke (11).


 

Dr. Gary Vonk

Dr. Gary Vonk is an Associate Vice Chancellor at Keiser University where he also serves as its Flagship Campus President. A leader in higher education, Dr. Vonk joined the Keiser organization after a career of nearly thirty years in company turnaround management. Vonk earned his Doctorate of Business Administration-Entrepreneurship from Walden University.  He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from San Diego State University.

Joe Ceravolo

Coach Ceravolo came to Florida as a minor league baseball player after graduating from Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia where he excelled at both basketball and baseball.  He earned his bachelors in science at Davis & Elkins and later a masters of education at the University of Pittsburgh. His baseball career was short lived and he came to West Palm Beach to embark on a basketball coaching career that produced winners at every level, high school, college and professional.  Ceravolo coached Florida high school teams and in 1976 he took over the basketball program at Palm Beach junior college where he became the first coach in Florida to win state titles at both the high school and Jaycee levels.  At the pro level he coached the west palm sting rays of the USBL, a developmental league aimed at preparing undrafted college grads for pro careers. Joe Ceravolo was the long time chair of the Palm Beach county sports hall of fame committee to which he was inducted in 1986.  He has accrued countless annual awards at the local, state and national levels for his achievements as a coach, educator and administrator.


 

Dr. Ed Eissey

Dr. Eissey is President Emeritus Palm Beach Community College. Past positions in Palm Beach County include: teacher, coach, principal, assistant area superintendent. President, Palm Beach Community College for 19 years. National Board of Governors of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 1974. Selected by The Palm Beach Post as one of “The Ten Most Influential Citizens in Palm Beach County”


 

James Watt

Jim Watt, a former local attorney, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and his law degree from the University of Florida. Jim served as the City Attorney, City of West Palm Beach; State Representative; County Commissioner and recently on the Board of Trustees of Palm Beach Community College. Palm Beach County Sports Commission Board Member 1992 – 2012 and President from 1992 – 1994 and originated the idea of the Lou Groza Award.  Mr. Watt was the West Palm Beach Bicentennial Committee Executive Director and Palm Beach County Bicentennial Commission Vice Chairman. Dade County State Bank Restoration Committee. Palm Beach County Municipal League Phil Lewis Statesmanship Award 1981. Florida Bar Local Government Section Ralph Marsicano Award 1982. Florida Municipal Attorneys' Association Municipal Attorney of the Year 1983.

Michael Napoleone received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 1993, where he was a member of Florida Blue Key. He earned his Juris Doctor in 1997 from St. John's University School of Law in New York.

Mr. Napoleone has successfully handled complex business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration.  His practice focuses on representing businesses and individuals in contract litigation, business transactions and corporate structuring, including breach of contract claims, non-compete and employment agreements, partnership and corporate disputes, intellectual property disputes, fraud, probate and real estate litigation.
