The Palm Beach Burn is the first Indoor Rowing competition in Palm Beach County. This event has local athletes from all backgrounds and sports racing alongside Police, Firemen, and other first responders on Concept2 indoor rowing machines over 500, 1000, and 2000 meters. An all-out battle for bragging rights and top prizes. All proceeds support local charities. Find out if you can take the heat!

Junior players all over the world, join us at the first annual Kriek Cup USA by Ten-Pro Global Junior Tour August 13-19, 2017 at the beautiful PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens Florida, home of the Johan Kriek Tennis Academy. We guarantee every player a minimum of four matches! Tournaments results are counted by UTR (Universal Tennis Rating). The Kriek Cup is an international tennis tournament for worldwide highly talented boys and girls, born in 2001 up to and including 2008 (in exceptional cases also for born 2009). IFBB/NPC Prestige Crystal Cup

Date: Jul 29 to 30, 2017
The International Federation of Body Building will bring the Prestige Crystal Cup to Palm Beach County on July 29-30. The competition will take place at Lynn University. The event is a national qualifier for figure, bikini, physique, and bodybuilding. Over 100 participants are expected to compete. The event is projected to generate over 200 hotel room nights.

National Beep Baseball World Series - Awards Dinner

The National Beep Baseball Association World Series is one of the largest sporting events for blind and visually impaired athletes and has a long and proud tradition of providing top-flight competition from across the nation dating back to 1976. Spectators who witness today’s style of beep baseball are generally delighted. They see blind athletes dive onto the ground to stop a beeping ball and run full speed toward the sound of a buzzing base to score a run. They see desire, determination, teamwork and in many cases skilled performances of sightless players having fun in the midst of extreme competition.

National Beep Baseball World Series - Awards Dinner

The American Legion Florida State Championship will take place at the Santaluces Athletic Complex from July 26-30, 2017. This is one of two baseball events that the American Legion is bringing Palm Beach County during the summer of 2017. The American Legion Florida State Championship features eight (8) baseball teams and 144 athletes traveling from across Florida to compete in a 19U division. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of four (4) games. The tournament will ultimately crown an American Legion Florida Champion.

National Beep Baseball Association World Series

Prospect Select Baseball is partnering with the Palm Beach County Sports Commission to host “The Wave Invitational” at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches from July 21-25. Approximately 40 teams are expected to compete in 18U, 16U and 14U age divisions, beginning with three days of pool play and advancing to two days of playoff baseball. Teams are expected to travel across the southeast region of the United States to participate. The event is a wood-composite bat tournament. Each team will play a minimum of 4 games. The event is expected to generate 700 room nights and $250,000 in direct visitor spending. In addition to The Wave Invitational, Prospect Select Baseball will also bring its National Showcase, the Palm Beach Classic and its Fall Classic to Palm Beach County on June 9-14 and September 22-24, respectively.

Optimist International Junior Golf Championships

The Optimist International Junior Golf Championships is one of the largest and well-known junior golf tournaments in the world. The tournament will take place on July 18 - August 2, at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. This event will attract more than 700 youth golfers from the United States, Canada, and 30 other countries. Boys and girls from 10 & under to 13 & under will compete from July 18-22. Boys and girls between the ages of 13-15 will compete from July 23-27. Boys and girls between the ages of 15-18 will compete from July 28 - August 1. Optimists have been involved in the sport of junior golf for more than 30 years by holding local, regional and international tournaments. More than 5,000 golfers compete in official Optimist District qualifying tournaments. The best of these golfers, along with international golfers from around the globe, advance to the annual Optimist International Junior Golf Championships. The Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association (PBGYAA) is partnering with the Palm Beach County Sports Commission to host the Cal Ripken Baseball Southeast Rookie Regional Championship at Gardens Park on July 18-22. The event will determine the regional champion for the rookie division, which features youth players between the ages of 7 and 8. The tournament will attract 30 teams and 360 youth players from across the southeast region of the United States. Over 1,000 parents and family members will travel to enjoy this little league baseball experience. Approximately 50 baseball games will take place during the 4-day tournament. Teams are guaranteed at least 3 games. The rookie division requires machine pitches for batters. Gardens Park is one of the premier youth baseball complexes in Palm Beach County. The facility maintains 8 lighted youth fields and 7 batting cages.

Cal Ripken Baseball Southeast Rookie Regional Championship

The USTA Boys 18’s & 16’s National Clay Court Championships is the highest level USTA junior tennis tournament in the country for boys 18u & 16u divisions. This event will be held from July 16-23, 2017 at the Delray Beach Tennis Center, Delray Swim & Tennis Club, and at the Broken Sound, Boca West, and Woodfield Country Clubs. The draw consists of more than 350 of the highest-ranked players in the US competing in singles and doubles competition. The event will include a College Expo, which is expected to attract approximately 200 NCAA collegiate coaches. This event will have a tremendous tourism impact for Palm Beach County by generating over 2,000 room nights and $1 million in economic impact.
